Kyūdō impressed me with his iron discipline, pure humility, unwavering self-control and, last but not least, tireless self-improvement. What is shocking to me is the constant knowledge of self-improvement or the never-ending "cultivation" of the oldest generation in Japan. And it is in many spheres. But in Kyūdō it is specific…
I want to say a big thank you to the Chairman of the Board of Kyūdō in Yokohama-Kanagawa, Mr. Kenji Sato, for giving me the confidence to come closer… And a big thanks also goes to all the members of Kyūdō, whom I was able to “perpetuate”… My admiration and adoration.
